THE BUSINESS NEED
Vail Resorts needed a scalable leadership development experience to equip people leaders with foundational skills to communicate effectively, engage teams, develop talent, and coach employees. The program needed to provide consistent leadership expectations while creating opportunities to practice and apply skills in everyday workplace situations.

MY APPROACH
Designed the Communicate pillar within a broader leadership development curriculum, combining self-paced learning with practical tools and facilitated application. The learning approach emphasized real-world leadership challenges, reflection, and opportunities to practice adapting communication styles, setting clear expectations, and navigating team conversations.

THE LEARNING SOLUTION
A blended learning experience incorporating interactive Articulate Storyline courses, downloadable Learning Guides, and virtual instructor-led practice sessions. The Communicate curriculum focused on effective leadership communication, adapting communication styles using Insights Color Energies, and setting and managing team expectations.
