THE BUSINESS NEED
Fear Free needed a scalable digital learning solution to help animal shelter employees and volunteers nationwide understand and apply Fear Free practices. The training needed to accommodate learners with varying levels of subject-matter knowledge, technology experience, and available training time.
MY APPROACH
Focused on creating accessible, engaging learning experiences that simplified complex content without sacrificing practical application. The design emphasized intuitive navigation, bite-sized lessons, and purposeful interactions to support learners completing training in different environments and at their own pace.
THE LEARNING SOLUTION
Six eLearning modules covering essential sheltering practices, including animal behavior, basic procedures, shelter culture, and adoption support. Developed in Articulate Storyline, the learning experiences incorporated video, visual storytelling, and interactive knowledge checks to reinforce understanding and application.
